Hello London – let’s eat!

The London Kitchen™ was founded in 2009 to focus on outstanding food and service to match. Every event is unique and we treat every client individually.

We love proper food. No Smears, no soils, emulsions, froths or strangled ingredients. Great ingredients always stand out.

We’re a small but talented team. Damian Clarkson has been in event catering for more than two decades working for major names including The Admirable Crichton, Rhubarb and Mosimanns.

Damian soaks up detail and has delivered some groundbreaking and noted events including delivery of London Fashion Week and BMWs Rolls Royce UK Centenary celebrations..

We have Emma and her Team in the kitchen, with huge experience at menu development and design. Current menus are just what we are enjoying right now – most menus are bespoke for each client.

Damian is only half joking when he calls himself the world’s oldest waiter. He isn’t joking when may tell you he invented the word manape – and trademarked it!

Tom is a passionate and creative individual with over 20 years experience in hospitality and events. An award-winning publican at the age of twenty, Tom has since worked and run event catering companies as well as high street deli operations.

Tom’s industry experience is underpinned with a BA(Hons) in Events Management from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MA in Food, Wine and Culture studied between Oxford Brookes University and the Dijon Business School.

Tom enjoys nothing more than creating imaginative, visual food and spending time with his wife and young family.

What we do

We work directly with many clients to make a perfect event, from brief and site inspection through to menu tasting and delivery. Our wine list is curated by none other than Joe Fattorini host of The Wine Show.

We have also worked with many leading agents delivering experiential events for the likes of Quorn, Sharwoods and Others. We catered with 20 chefs like Jack Stein, Kelis and The Hemsley sisters to deliver Waitrose ‘On Blackheath’ festival twice and House of Peroni 3 times.

Since our launch we have also been the delivery partner for events by major chefs including Giorgio Locatelli, Francesco Mazzei, Robert Wiedermeyer and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay with Clare Smyth – using our infrastructure and support to deliver events with them.

Let’s celebrate

Nobody loves a party more than The London Kitchen, be it a partnership, blessing or anything else we can raise a glass to. We have a diverse group of clients and have done some innovative Weddings incorporating some very special touches.

The Caribbean and Irish Wedding, The Scottish and Irish Wedding, The English and Brazilian Wedding… even the Wedding we did at Borough Market which was totally gluten free!

We’ve worked in most – and many you haven’t heard of. Let’s work the little black book to deliver something that totally fits- just ask!

As well as museums and landmarks we huge experience in private houses, marquees and one off locations in London and beyond including Warehouses, Trains and Planes! We have also catered at locations throughout Scotland Ireland and The South of France.
